Most organisations now have more AI ideas than budget, data or governance capacity. Ideas arrive from every function, are scored differently, and optimistic benefits often rank as if they were proven. Risk review tends to happen after enthusiasm - and sometimes funding - has built up, and two ideas improving the same process can both claim the same saving.
The AI Use-Case Prioritization Engine gives AI Centres of Excellence, PMOs, transformation offices and technology leaders one consistent way to evaluate every idea. Each use case is entered once (54 fields, one row) and scored on four separate lenses: opportunity (Value), feasibility and organizational readiness, responsible-AI risk, and evidence confidence. Priority is discounted when benefits rest on assumptions, and seven mandatory governance gates place an idea on hold regardless of its score.
The engine classifies every use case as Scale Now, Pilot, Discovery, Redesign/Hold or Stop/Deprioritize using transparent, editable rules; compares low, base and high three-year economics (showing 'Not Quantified' instead of misleading zeroes); flags benefits that may be double counted; and funds candidates in priority order within a funding envelope.
It supports decisions on what to scale, what to pilot, what needs evidence first, what must be redesigned and what to stop. It is decision support, not a decision-maker: ratings are judgements, and the tool does not replace legal, privacy, cybersecurity, regulatory, model-risk or responsible-AI review.
