Attrition Dashboard (Power BI)
Premium
A Power BI attrition dashboard template for HR leaders. It measures overall, voluntary, regrettable and early-tenure attrition, shows where exits are concentrated and tracks retention actions.
What you receive
A ready-to-use Power BI template
A Power BI project version
A clean Excel dataset
Most attrition reports end at one number: “18.5% this year.” The questions that follow usually go unanswered: Where is it happening? Which exits hurt most? What will they cost to replace? Who owns the fix?
The Attrition Intelligence Dashboard for Power BI is built for that conversation. It uses three simple tables:
a monthly Workforce Snapshot
an Employee Movement log, with one row per exit
a Retention Actions log
From these, it turns your workforce data into a four-page executive report:
Executive Attrition. Headline KPIs, monthly exits against annualized attrition and target, attrition by business unit, a ranked priority-segment table and an auto-written executive briefing.
Trends & Cohorts. Early-tenure exits, voluntary versus involuntary trends, tenure at exit, hires versus exits and a quarterly run-rate.
Segments & Drivers. A job family × location risk matrix (small groups suppressed), an exit-reason Pareto, attrition by location and manager-level concentration.
Critical Talent & Actions. Critical-role and high-performer exits, the replacement pipeline and a retention-action tracker with status pills and progress bars.
There is also a drill-through to pseudonymous exit records, a hover tooltip page and a built-in Guide page with every definition.
Every rate follows documented rules:
Average headcount is the mean of monthly (opening + closing) ÷ 2.
Partial periods are annualized and labelled.
Rates are recalculated from aggregated data, never averaged across teams.
Critical-talent rates appear only when a valid denominator exists.
