Quick-start guide (PDF, 7 pages)
Most portfolio reports show where projects are today. Few tell you whether the forecasts behind those numbers deserve your trust.
The Project Forecast Accuracy & Early-Warning Engine answers three questions in about ten seconds: Can we trust our forecasts? Where are they deteriorating? What requires intervention now?
It keeps two ideas strictly apart. Forecast accuracy is measured only for completed projects with real outcomes – using the forecast that existed 90, 60 or 30 days before completion, or the final pre-completion forecast – and never a forecast recorded after the outcome. Early-warning intelligence applies to active projects: cost exposure, schedule slippage, margin erosion, forecast volatility, confidence, milestone status and stale submissions, combined into a transparent Early-Warning Score that is never presented as accuracy.
You paste one row per project forecast snapshot. Everything else – KPIs, filters, trend, reliability ranking, heatmap, waterfall, prioritised warnings, recommended actions and a written insight – is calculated by visible formulas you can inspect, or by the same rules in the offline app.
